Breastfeeding/Chestfeeding Support
La Leche League of Texas offers support Group meetings in locations across the state. In some areas there are no regular support Group meetings, but local accredited La Leche League Leaders are available to provide breastfeeding/chestfeeding information and support over the phone and via email. All nursing people interested in breastfeeding/chestfeeding are welcome to attend meetings or contact Leaders for breastfeeding/chestfeeding information and support.
Our Mission
La Leche League of Texas helps parents, families, and communities to breastfeed, chestfeed, and human milk feed their babies through parent-to-parent support. LLL of Texas encourages, informs, educates, supports, and promotes the use of human milk and the intimate relationship and development that comes from nursing a child for as long as mutually desired.
Diversity and Inclusion Statement
La Leche League of Texas (LLL TX) is committed to diversity and inclusion. LLL TX supports all breastfeeding, chestfeeding, and human milk feeding families, inclusive of their race, ethnicity, immigration status, national origin, creed, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, family structure, primary language, ability, or socio-economic status. LLL TX fosters diversity among its Leaders so as to incorporate a wide variety of perspectives and responsible decision-making.
